Planning travel on your own can be time-consuming and overwhelming. That’s why many travelers choose to work with a travel consultant —a professional who brings expertise, insight, and advocacy to every trip.

 

A skilled travel consultant designs an experience tailored to your personality, travel style, and budget. Beyond bookings, your advisor can assist with details such as preferred room types, early check-in or late checkout requests, airport transfers, and dining recommendations for dietary needs. Most importantly, you gain peace of mind knowing you have a knowledgeable professional to turn to if plans change or issues arise during your trip.

What sets us apart? 

Travel Dreams is a passion-driven consultancy, not a volume-based agency. I am not incentivized to push high-commission options or grow a large-scale operation. While I do charge a planning fee, I prioritize value over commission and act solely as your advocate. Many traditional agencies state their services are “free,” with compensation coming from suppliers. In reality, commission (often ranging from 6–18%) are frequently built into pricing.  

Most of the time, my fee will pay for itself in money and time saved and enhanced experiences. 

I believe in full transparency, and while large agencies may occasionally access perks because of their high-volume, my focus is on finding the best overall option for you, not the highest payout for myself.

How is the fee justified? 

I bring hundreds of hours of research and extensive personal travel experience and expertise to every itinerary. I understand where value truly lies across flights, lodging, rental cars, tours, and transfers—and I establish relationships with trusted suppliers I can confidently recommend.

 

My pricing is clear and upfront. You pay a transparent rate for my time and expertise. If a booking includes a commission, I’ll disclose it, but if you can get a better price by booking directly yourself, I’ll tell you that, too. 

 

I believe a “good deal” means maximizing your time, money, and experience through thoughtful planning, trusted partners, and personalized itineraries—rather than simply chasing the lowest price. You deserve a trip that will leave you with unforgettable memories!

  • Compare direct booking vs. online travel agencies (OTAs)
  • Assess supplier reliability and reviews
  • Recommend rate and upgrade options aligned with your preferences
  • Present curated options for informed decision-making
  • Assist with bookings
  • Provide support during your trip (if selected)

Any commissions earned on bookings will be applied towards your planning fees! 

  • Basic: $99 (Single Destination)   

    • Flights and/or lodging only (single destination) 

    • Includes 1 itinerary change, then $25 per additional change. 

 

  • Premium: $35/day 
    • Capped at 10 days (additional days no charge) 
    • Flights and/or lodging (up to 3 destinations)
    • Research and recommendations for additional transportation needs such as rental cars, trains, buses, ferries, private drivers, taxis, etc. 
    • Research, recommendations, and coordination for tour guides and activities
    • Printable itinerary with all details including transportation, lodging, tours, etc., as well as booking instructions. 
    • Booking support via text and email 
    • Includes up to 2 itinerary changes, then $50 per additional change

 

  •  Elite: $55/day
    • Capped at 10 days (additional days, $25/each) 
    • Everything included in Premium PLUS:
    • Trips more with than 3 destinations or that exceed 14 days
    • Restaurant recommendations and reservations
    • Live phone or Zoom booking assistance and coordination
    • Packing checklist customized to destination
    • Phone support during trip*

 

  • All-Inclusive Package or Cruise Research and recommendations: $125
    • Booking assistance via email
    • Includes 1 itinerary change, then $25 per additional change. 

 

  • Trip Inspiration Proposals: $150 
    • Perfect if you are unsure of where to start or unable to choose between 2 or more destinations
    • We'll discuss approximate dates and budget, and I'll deliver 3 unique options to choose from via video presentation 
    • Basic outline including trip overviews and price estimates
    • Includes $100 credit towards any of the above services.  

 

  • Additional phone consultations $50/30 minutes, $75/60 minutes. 

Estimated fees due at signing. 

Due to the nature of the work, there will be no refunds.  Added days may incur additional fees.  Travel Insurance is highly encouraged. If you completely change destinations after a detailed itinerary has been drafted, it will constitute a new trip. A $100 credit will be given for use towards a future trip for cancelled trips or destination changes.
